Changes to Fit Note requirements in Northern Ireland
The requirements for doctors fit notes in Northern Ireland have been amended to remove the need for a doctor to produce a fit note in ink. The change becomes live from the 6th April 2022.

No 138 The Smoke-Free (Exemptions, Vehicles, Penalties and Discounted Amounts) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007
These regulations provide for exemptions under the Smoking (Northern Ireland) Order 2006 and provide for most public and work vehicles to be smoke-free under the order.

No 26 The Parental Leave (EU Directive) (Flexible Working) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2013
These Regulations implement Council Directive 2010/18/EU on the revised framework agreement on parental leave. They amend provisions relating to parental leave in the Employment Rights (Northern Ireland) Order 1996.
Landmark Holiday Pay case concluded by UK Supreme Court
The long awaited decision from the Supreme Court in the case of Chief Constable of Police Service of Northern Ireland v Agnew and others [UKSC33] was passed down on the 04/10/2023.
In essence the case was about how to properly calculate holiday pay and how far back claims can go where the amount was miscalculated.
The Statutory Parental Bereavement Pay (General) (No. 2) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2023
The Regulations revoke and re-enact the provisions of the Statutory Parental Bereavement Pay (General) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2023. The Regulations provide for an entitlement for bereaved parents who are employed earners to receive a statutory payment from their employers called statutory parental bereavement pay. More here:

These Regulations make amendments to the fees charged by the Northern Ireland Certification Office.
