Employers should indicate to their employees when and how they will receive their pay.
It should be clear:
What the pay frequency is: Weekly/Monthly
The day the pay will be paid: last Friday/28th of each month
How the pay will be given: Cash/cheque/bank transfer
Employees must be given documentation explaining how much pay they will get and when their pay day is within two months of starting the job.
This is normally outlined in the employment contract.
