Fair Employment Monitoring Returns
Fair employment monitoring returns are collected annually by the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland (ECNI). All private sector employers having 11 or more employees must register with the Equality Commission. All public sector employers are automatically registered. All registered employers have a legal duty to provide an annual monitoring return to ECNI. Information is available on the composition of the Northern Ireland workforce in terms of community background, employment status, occupation and gender.
