Labour Relations Agency Disability Action Plan 2020-2023
This action plan follows on from our 2015-2018 action plan and outlines how the Agency intends to implement a number of meaningful actions which we believe will impact positively on both disabled staff and users of our services.
The purpose of our Disability Action Plan is to look at things we could be doing to promote positive attitudes towards disabled people and to encourage their participation in our work areas.

This Order comes into operation on 22/3/15 and essentially it revises the limits on awards and payments under certain employment rights legislation in line with the rate of inflation.

This Order increases, from 4/3/12, the limits applying to certain awards of Industrial Tribunals and other amounts payable under employment legislation as specified in the Schedule to the Order.

Temporary lay-off and short-time working
From time to time employers may experience a temporary shortage of work and it may be necessary to lay-off all or some of their employees in order to preserve long term employment security. This Order increases, as from 5/3/00, the limits applying to certain awards of industrial tribunals, and other amounts payable under employment legislation, as specified in the Schedule to the Order. (Increases reflect increases in Retail Price Index from Sept’97-Sept’99).
