On Thursday 23 February 2023, we hosted our “10X Reasons and More for Good Employment Relations in NI” conference at Titanic Belfast.
This major stakeholder conference brought together employers, HR professionals, trade unionists and others to explore how we create a framework of best practice that will help turn the vision for a 10X economy into a reality through good employment relations.

No. 24 Employment Rights (Increase of limits) Order (Northern Ireland) 2002
This Order increases the limits (as of 10/3/02) applying to certain awards of Industrial Tribunals and other awards. Examples include: "capped" weeks pay £250, guaranteed payment £17.00, Unfair dismissal limit £52,600.
192 (C.9) Employment Rights (Time off for Study and Training) (1998 Order)(Commencement) Order (Northern Ireland) 2000
This Order brings into operation on 1/9/00 the provisions of the Employment Rights (Time off for study or training) (Northern Ireland) Order 1998.
No 58 The Social Security Benefits Up-rating Order (Northern Ireland) 2019
This Order changes key statutory rates over a period from 1/4/19 until 8/4/19.
6 Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order (Northern Ireland) 2000
This Order increases, as from 5/3/00, the limits applying to certain awards of industrial tribunals, and other amounts payable under employment legislation, as specified in the Schedule to the Order. (Increases reflect increases in Retail Price Index from Sept’97-Sept’99).
No 603 The National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Regulations 2019
These Regulations are the annual amendments to the National Minimum Wage legislation which has existed since 1999 and they come into effect on 1/4/19.
196 (C.18) The Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (Commencement No. 6) Order (Northern Ireland) 1999
This Order provides for the implementation of further components of the 1995 Act, specifically sections: 19(1) (6), 20 (2), (5), (9) and 21 (1), 2 (d), (4), (6) and (10) which relate to the duty on providers of service to make adjustments.

419 The Disability Discrimination (Employment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1996
These Regulations provide for circumstances whereupon treatment of a disabled employee or failure to make a reasonable adjustment is justified: where pay is linked to performance, where there are uniform rates of contribution to an occupational pension scheme regardless of benefits received, where building works complied with (and continue to comply with) the building regulations in relations to disabled access and facilities.
