10X REASONS (AND MORE) FOR GOOD EMPLOYMENT RELATIONS – A CONFERENCE
On Thursday 23 February 2023, we hosted our “10X Reasons and More for Good Employment Relations in NI” conference at Titanic Belfast.
This major stakeholder conference brought together employers, HR professionals, trade unionists and others to explore how we create a framework of best practice that will help turn the vision for a 10X economy into a reality through good employment relations.

Early Conciliation
The Labour Relations Agency provides an Early Conciliation service following a change in NI employment law which took effect on 27 January 2020. This service helps to resolve workplace disputes in a legally binding way, without the need to take a case to the Industrial or Fair Employment Tribunal. No. 56 The Social Security Benefits Up-rating Order (Northern Ireland) 2017
This Order, one of a series of statutory rules relating to the annual up-rating of social security benefits provides for the rates of certain social security benefits, pensions and allowances from various dates in early April 2017.
No. 40 The Social Security Benefits Up-rating Order (Northern Ireland) 2020
This Order alters the rates and amounts of certain social security benefits and other sums from a variety of dates in early April 2020. In relation to employment the rates in these regulations cover - Statutory Sick Pay, Maternity Pay, Paternity pay and Parental pay.
No 211 The Social Security (Maternity Allowance) (Earnings) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015
These Regulations come into operation on 6/4/15 and they essentially amend the Social Security (Maternity Allowance) (Earnings) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2000 in consequence of section 2 of and Schedule 1 to the National Insurance Contributions Act 2015 (c. 5).
