No 150 The Statutory Maternity Pay (Curtailment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015
These Regulations, from the operational date of 15/3/15, allow eligible women to curtail their statutory maternity pay in accordance with section 161(3A) of the Social Security Contributions and Benefits (Northern Ireland) Act 1992 in order to enable them to take statutory shared parental pay in accordance with section 167ZU of the 1992 Act.

No 229 The Rules of the Court of Judicature (Northern Ireland) (Amendment No. 3) 2011
These Rules amend the Rules of the Court of Judicature (Northern Ireland) to provide for the award of penalties by the High Court under the Transnational Information and Consultation of Employees Regulations 1999 (S.I 1999/3323), in consequence of amendments made by the Transnational Information and Consultation of Employees (Amendment) Regulations 2010 which came into effect on 5/6/11.
Employee-led Early Conciliation
From 27 January 2020 anyone who wishes to lodge a claim with the Industrial or Fair Employment Tribunal must first notify the Labour Relations Agency and discuss the option of Early Conciliation. You will not be able to proceed to tribunal without at least considering this option.

These Regulations amend the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 (“the TUPE Regulations”), insofar as those Regulations apply to Northern Ireland, to take account of changes made by the Employment Act (Northern Ireland) 2011 (c. 13 (N.I.)).

We offer free conciliation services to help parties involved in a workplace dispute to come to a legally binding resolution, without needing to go through a public tribunal. We offer both individual conciliation and collective conciliation, for example where an issue affects a number of employees.
