Pension scheme trustees and directors of trustee companies
Employees who are trustees of an occupational pension scheme (as defined in Section 1 of the Pension Schemes (Northern Ireland) Act 1993) or directors of trustee companies are entitled to reasonable time off with pay to carry out any of their trustee’s duties, or to receive training relevant to those duties.

No 140 The Social Security (Maternity Allowance) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014
These Regulations come into effect on 18/5/14 and are derived from changes brought in by reforms under Statutory Rule 102 above. Section 35B provides an entitlement to maternity allowance for women who work with a spouse or civil partner who is engaged in self-employment.

When your wife, partner or civil partner gives birth or adopts a child, you may be entitled to Statutory Paternity Pay.
