Early Conciliation
The Labour Relations Agency provides an Early Conciliation service following a change in NI employment law which took effect on 27 January 2020. This service helps to resolve workplace disputes in a legally binding way, without the need to take a case to the Industrial or Fair Employment Tribunal. 81 (C.10) Fair Employment and Treatment (1998 Order) (commencement No.1) Order (Northern Ireland) 1999
This order brings into operation all the provisions of the Fair Employment and Treatment (Northern Ireland) Order 1998, apart from Articles 80, 96 and 98.
