The Regulations revoke and re-enact the provisions of the Statutory Parental Bereavement Pay (General) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2023. These Regulations come into effect from 6/4/14 and effectively they revoke Regulation 13 of the old 1982 Regulations regarding the keeping of records concerning the payment of Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) to be retained by employers.
