Agency structure
The vision and objectives of the Labour Relations Agency are determined by a Board consisting of a Chair and nine members who are appointed by the Department for the Economy (DfE). Staff are direct employees of the Agency. They receive continuous training and development on changes in employment legislation and employment relations practice and procedures.

No 68 The National Minimum Wage (Amendment) Regulations 2016
These Regulations come into force on 1/4/16 and effectively they are the vehicle for the introduction of the “National Living Wage” for those workers aged 25 and over.
No 60 The Health and Safety (Fees) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2010
These Regulations revoke and re-enact the 2009 Regulations and come into effect from 1/4/10.
No 37 The Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016
This Order comes into operation on 14/2/16 and effectively changes calculation and limits figures for things such as a week’s pay for the purposes of statutory redundancy pay and unfair dismissal calculation.
Board Minutes

The Labour Relations Agency, in partnership with Timely Careers, and supported by the Department for the Economy, will host #FlexibleFutures24, a conference examining the case for flexible working, on Thursday 14 March 2024 in Stranmillis College, Belfast.No. 276 The Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act (2007) (Commencement No 2) Order 2010
This Statutory Instrument brings into effect Section 10 of the 2007 Act which makes provision for the power to order convictions etc to be publicised.
Annual holidays
Most workers - whether part-time or full-time - are legally entitled to 5.6 weeks' paid annual leave. Employers can set the times of the year that leave needs to be taken and workers must give the employer notice when they want to take leave.

The appointed day for the commencement of this Code is 1/10/99 and as such enacts sections 13-15 of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
