The Regulations, as of 6/4/15, amend Article 70(3) of the Fair Employment and Treatment (Northern Ireland) Order 1998 to comply with an EU Pilot investigation concerning the transposition of Council Directive 2000/78/EC in Northern Ireland.
No 63 The Employment Rights (Increase in Limits) Order Northern Ireland
This Order increases, from 6th April 2019, the limits applying to certain awards of industrial tribunals, the Fair Employment Tribunal or Labour Relations Agency statutory arbitration, and other amounts payable under employment legislation, as specified in the Schedule to the Order.

An independent mediator can sometimes help resolve grievance or disciplinary issues. There is no charge for using the Labour Relations Agency's mediation service.
Time off for trade union duties and activities
An employee who is an official of an independent trade union is entitled to paid time off in certain circumstances.

This Order makes amendments to the Act of the same name (2000) by including NI public authorities to Schedule 1 and the impact on officers of such authorities.
No 159 The Sex Discrimination Order 1976 (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2008
These Regulations make a variety of amendments to our anti-discrimination legislation as it pertains to gender and pregnancy only. As a result there is no longer a requirement for a comparator who is not pregnant when a woman is pursuing a case of discrimination on the grounds of pregnancy or maternity leave.

This Order brings into operating, on 8/3/01, Articles 3,7,8 and 25 and Schedule 1 of the Employment Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1999.

No 65 The Statutory Sick Pay (Maintenance of Records)(Revocation) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2014
These Regulations come into effect from 6/4/14 and effectively they revoke Regulation 13 of the old 1982 Regulations regarding the keeping of records concerning the payment of Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) to be retained by employers.
