No 96 The Statutory Adoption Pay (Curtailment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015
These Regulations come into operation from 15/3/15 and enable an adopter to give notice to end statutory adoption pay early on a specific future date.

Where entitlement has been curtailed, an eligible person (the other adopter or a partner who will share care of the child) can by agreement take, or share with the adopter, the remaining number of untaken weeks' statutory adoption pay as statutory shared parental pay.
Where an adopter is not eligible for statutory adoption leave, they may transfer the balance of their statutory adoption pay to an eligible person who is entitled to take statutory shared parental pay and/or shared parental leave.
