Managing Challenging Workplace Cultures


One of the most destructive forces in the modern workplace is the growth of negative widespread cultures which damage relations, productivity and efficiency.  This phenomenon is tackled in this interactive seminar which considers some of the most common challenging cultures, including bullying, formal challenging, long hours and alcohol/”drinking”.  It will examine why each is damaging to the interests of employers and employees and will provide for mapped action plans for each challenging culture.  This will be supported by short participative exercises to allow participants to practice methods and systems toward producing an action plan.

Learning Outcomes

At the end of this seminar participants will:

  • have an understanding of how a culture differs from an occasional problem
  • have an understanding of how to create awareness of negative cultures
  • know how to discuss the key diagnostics of such cultures
  • have an understanding of how to prepare corrective measures

The seminar will last for 2.5 hours.
