The Labour Relations Agency provides free, impartial and confidential services to employers, employer bodies, employees and workers in Northern Ireland, as well as Trade Unions, HR and legal professionals.
The Agency adopts the service standards set by Government in the Citizen’s Charter. Any complaint about the delivery of an Agency service can be brought to a Director of the Agency.
We provide an impartial and confidential employment relations service to those engaged in industry, commerce and the public services. Our services include the provision of advice on good employment practices and assistance with the development and implementation of employment policies and procedures. We are also active in resolving disputes through our conciliation, mediation and arbitration services.
This Order relates to the issue of continuity of employment in the context of undergoing professional training and being employed successively by a number of different health service employers.

Under Article 54A of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland may prepare and issue codes of practice giving practical guidance: to - employers, service providers; to - promote equality of opportunity, encourage good practice in the field of employment and in access to goods, facilities services and premises. This Order stipulates 1/10/99 as the date on which the Code of Practice on the Right of Access to Goods, Facilities, Services and Premises comes into effect.

This Order stipulates 2nd December 1996 as the date when the Code of Practice on the Rights of Access to Goods, Facilities, Services and Premises comes into force.
Although these Regulations do not specifically relate to employment there are aspects of them that could apply in an employment dispute which is cross border between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.

These Regulations, as of 30/12/07, make amendments to the 2006 TUPE Regulations and the 2006 Service Provision Change Regulations (NI only) purely in terms of references to the above Regulations which exist in other Orders in Council and Regulations, for example, the ICE (NI) Regulations 2005 and the Pensions (NI) Order 2005.
