These Regulations come into effect on 18/5/14 and are derived from changes brought in by reforms under Statutory Rule 102 above. Section 35B provides an entitlement to maternity allowance for women who work with a spouse or civil partner who is engaged in self-employment.

This Order made by the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions under section 1 of the Welfare Benefits Up-rating Act 2013 and sections 150 and 150A of the Social Security Administration Act 1992, alters the rates and amounts of certain social security benefits and other sums.
Pension scheme trustees and directors of trustee companies
Employees who are trustees of an occupational pension scheme (as defined in Section 1 of the Pension Schemes (Northern Ireland) Act 1993) or directors of trustee companies are entitled to reasonable time off with pay to carry out any of their trustee’s duties, or to receive training relevant to those duties.
