National Minimum Wage rate increases - Are you ready?

On 1st April 2018 the National Minimum Wage rates increase and so employers and workers alike need to be aware of the new rates to ensure compliance with the law. There are significant fines for non-compliance with the law and it can often be easy to make mistakes regarding things such as paying for uniforms which could mean inadvertent breaches of the law. If in doubt contact the Labour Relations Agency's Enquiry Point on 028 90 321 442 and wait for the Enquiry Point option to be put through to someone to assist with information and non-directive advice.

The new headline rates are posted below and contrasted against the existing rates.
