GO Outdoors

In early 2016 the Labour Relations Agency, in collaboration with ACAS, facilitated a workshop for senior managers and Human Resources team from GO Outdoors regarding the key differences in employment law in Northern Ireland and Great Britain. The project was delivered in advance of GO Outdoors opening its first store in Northern Ireland and was designed to ensure the company was aware of issues such as – recruitment, statutory compliance and the employment relations impact of the core differences between employment law in Northern Ireland as compared to Great Britain. The facilitated project helped fast-track the knowledge base of senior operational managers with a view to them having an overview and basic working knowledge in advance of their recruitment process and official opening in May 2016.
