The Agency launches revised Code of Practice on Time off for trade union duties and activities
The Labour Relations Agency’s revised Code of Practice on time off for trade union duties and activities came into effect on 19 April 2012.
This Code replaces the Labour Relations Agency Code of Practice on Time Off for Trade Union Duties and Activities, which came into effect on 20 May 2004.
This revised Code is issued under Article 90(1) and (13) of The Industrial Relations (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 with the approval of the Department for Employment and Learning. It comes into effect, by order of the Department, on 19 April 2012.
The earlier Code shall cease to have effect on 19 April 2012 except in relation to any act done on or before that day.
