Doctors in training
The Working Time (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2009 made provision for certain doctors (as detailed in Schedule 2A) in training to be exempt for a limited time (2 years) from the 48hr maximum working week. Schedule 2A to the above Regulations listed those who were exempt, however the exemption ends on 31st July 2011 and the 48hr maximum working week limit shall apply again from 1st August 2011.
