I found out through their website that the Labour Relations Agency offers free workshops and seminars for employers, so I took advantage of this and attended a Workshop on the Statement of Main Terms and Conditions of Employment and a seminar on Disciplinary and Grievance Procedures.I found both of these to be extremely helpful and the aftercare provided was excellent. When updating our company's Statement of Main Terms and Conditions of Employment I was able to bring a draft copy to the Agency; they checked it over for me and gave me advice on implementing it. Having our new Statement in place has strengthened the company and made it a better place to work for our staff. Having the confidence to know that we are complying with the law leaves us to get on with the day-to-day business of running the shops and I know that the Labour Relations Agency will always be there to offer advice and guidance when we need it.”
